Named for their delightful furry, yellowish-brown rhizomes, Rabbit’s Foot Ferns have lacy, finely divided hanging foliage that creeps over the top of the plant pot. The distinctive hairy rhizomes resemble sweet little hare’s or rabbit’s feet. This generally slow-growing fern does lovely in hanging baskets on a patio or underplanting in a fernery.
Plant Rabbit’s Foot Ferns in a shallow pot or hanging basket so it can proudly display its unique rhizomes. This easy-going fern will live a long, happy life with proper moisture managing and the right amount of light. The plant is non-toxic for cats and dogs.
